Transforming Communities through Technology

Rise Science is an initiative that is focusing on improving the lives of people who stay in marginalized rural communities through use of technology. It's aim is to empower students and communities through the cutting edge technology and innovation. It seek to bridge the digital divide in peripheral areas and eliminate the silos information and knowledge. The main aim of Rise Science is to eliminate digital exclusion and digital inequality in peripheral areas.

It is preparing the youth of disadvantage communities for 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) by placing the fundamental building blocks for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure. It is equipping young people with necessary skills that would enable them for digital economy. It is promoting the dynamic use of science and technology to solve challenges in marginalized areas. It aims to alleviate the drug-abuse in disadvantage communities and schools by equipping the youth with essential skills, such as coding, training, computer literacy and established IT skills.
